5 Days in Belgium

Our European holiday lasted for 40 days. And five days out of 40, we spent in the beautiful Belgium. We visited several cities including the capital Brussels, Antwerp, Brugge, and my favorite, Gand.

This is a photo-heavy post, so enjoy!

A trip to Belgium won’t be complete without tasting their famous chocolates and waffles! Yummy!

We found this food stall in Brussels where the locals were eating and drinking wine.  So we decided to eat there as well. No seats, just cocktail tables. Great food, cheap price = excellent combination. 🙂

Care for some escargots?

We also brought the boys to the Atomium Museum.

That’s right, all you can eat ribs.

I can blame this resto for my 2-kilo weight gain. Hahaha!

Also in Gand, we saw students in white coats, and they were singing and drinking beer. Somebody said that it was some kind of a festival.

LOL. Some were already dancing and standing on top of the table. As they said, “In Belgium, beer is more than just a frothy beverage – it is a culture.”
